Sorry if my post was a bit vage I was heading out the door as I typed....and
after sleeping on it...netware is not what i am after...

What is happening is that we currently have a basice network where all ip
addresses and DNS is done by our SatDSL box. We now want to give access to
non-employees access to the internet but not to peoples shared drives.

My employers would just set up an NT Domain controler but I am causeing the
"problem" because I refuse to do my day to day work on anything else but
Linux.

What I am thinking is getting a linux box with a few network cards in it with
one card connected to "our network" and the other connected to "their
network" but my linux knowlage is not upto knowing what software to do
this....any ideas?
