i did something similar last year, it posted the information to a script
that generated an image using based on the colour value of each 'pixel'
movie clip - the movie clips were named according to position so i was able
to retrieve that from the variable name (MC_1_1....MC_80_40).
the script referenced an object that allowed you to build an image up pixel
by pixel and save as gif or jpg, if i can remember the name of the bugger
i'll mail what its called to you
