RE: FN-FORUM flash preloading actionscript question

You probably will need to move the frames along. But maybe only one frame.
You can place a OnClip event within an empty MC to handle your prelading
issues.
Check out www.moock.org or even the usual flashkit for preloaders, etc.

Subject: FN-FORUM flash preloading actionscript question
hello
i have designed a flash site operating on several layers , the base layer
being simple and loading immediately and more complex graphic layers loading
on top
i want my flash movie to be fully loaded prior to it starting to play. I
know that i could have put in a preloader with the if frame is loading
script, but that would mean i would have to move all my frames along which
is not a problem, but i was wondering if there was an easier way of stopping
the movie playing until all frames and layers are loaded ?
if anyone wants to look, the site is temp at www.nxmd.co.uk/jd , you can see
the problem with the second layerr which is the content as it starts to play
before all the individual pics are loaded (for diff sections) - if i put all
the images at 0% opacity in the first frame - would this sort the problem -
i might try that, but any other suggestions welcome
also is there a way to attach a sound globally to all rollovers rather than
changing each instance individually
thanks in advance
