Draw a line to the edge of the paper, and across the back? Or does that
count as crossing another line?
Best wishes,
Ross Hamilton

The "language" riddle is a bit old hat now. So is the "Monty Hall"
problem.
A better puzzle is the three services and three houses puzzle. It has a
solution, but it takes a neat bit of lateral thinking to work it out.
You draw three little boxes in a row. One represents an electricity
company, one a gas company and the third a water company.
Under this row of three squares, you draw another row of three squares -
each of which represents a house. The puzzle is to draw lines to
represent
supply lines so that each house is supplied with gas water and
electricity.
The rules are that these supply lines must not cross over each other, or
go
through the houses. There is a solution and it is ingenious.
