make 100 frames in a movie clip, do some tween of an object filling the
circle up (shapes under masks etc)... get the percent of your movie loaded
vs a frame in that preloader movie circle - for more detailed info if you
have no clue as to what I speak, try www.flashkit.com and search under
loaders, look for a script that will advance frames in a movie clip by
percent loaded.
