Taken out of context it may look rubbish but would you really upgrade the
desktops to W2k and use Fat32 file system when you have an NT server using
NTFS?
I know the file system has nothing to do with the comms issue - There is no
comms issue here - but the file system may cause issues.
Try not to be so harsh.
I'll be crying in my soup next.

Rubbish!! It is a NETWORK!!! The redirector takes care of that stuff. The
file system is totally irrelevant to the comms.
Who perpetuates this stuff? It's worse than the netbeui myth.
