The file system on the workstations has absolutely NOTHING to do with the file
system on the server - in that context its an irrelvance. Once you get to this
point: "use NTFS and they will be able to talk to an NT" - you can write off
everything else in the message because its clear that the author simply
doesn't know what they are talking about. This isn't even the hard stuff - its
fundamental for anyone who deems themself competent to give out advice on the
subject.
Yes if one upgrades to W2K or XP (Pro for an office environment) then one
ought to use a decent file system on the workstations but that has no bearing
on whether or not they will work with a given server.
Enough ranting - I really must try and go do something productive.
