Go get a rental generator.
A car battery would die in no time at all.
HSS Hire do them from ?38 to ?550 a week, depending upon load required.
Mind you the ?550 a week job would keep Wembley stadium going during an
outage.

Haven't had to do it but I have seen transformers that created a 240V
domestic supply from a car lighter socket - not for running TVs off I
suspect you might get away with a couple of lamps ;>
