Nope never been on one, probably never will, but I do look at my mirrors
while driving, pay special attention to bikers etc, but just because it
makes common sense.

I think you must be a biker!
I agree with absolutely everything you've said.
Fog lights coming towards you at night in the rain
when riding a bike is extremely unhelpful.
To see past the shadow and look for that raised
manhole cover or that cyclist or I need main beam -
so if any of you misuse foglights and wonder why
you are being blinded, now you know.
