The best way to do this is to save your illustration as an .ai file then
bring it into photoshop using the 'place' function. Then using photoshop
save for pdf. When you open it up in acrobat you will see that you have
no jagged lines

Hi All.

Anybody know what the best way is to get really good pdf's from
illustrator files. I'd like small(ish) files that look great. I have
acrobat and illustrator but can't quite get the results I'm looking for.
The files are all native illustrator vector art. Not bitmaps. They end
up crusty as hell or looking good but massive.

Any help appreciated.
