RE: FN-FORUM Web Designer Developer Looking For Projects

Exactly. The correct way to go about touting your wares is to establish
a good reputation with other people. This is done by giving informative
information to the forum - often as a response to a technical question.
This demonstrates both your acumen and your areas of expertise.
PS: Don't forget to include all relevant contact information with every
post you make. Steve has thought(less|ful)ly forgot to include his
phone numbers - shame on you Steve.

I'll nip in here just in case you get lambasted by others on the list
(you know who you are, you mean ol' lot you ;o) and let you know in a
reasonable manner that it's considered bad form to tout your wares in
such an obvious manner on this list.
This forum is mainly for discussions between freelancers about various
web (and more than a bit of non-web) related topics. From time to time,
people will post here wanting a freelancer for a particular job, but
most contacts are then made off-list.
I hope this helps, and welcome to the list!
Regards,
Steve
