Thanks for all the responses. Sorry for the delay in my
own reply I had to go out almost immediately I posted the
original mail.
Ok, for future reference it's not possible to stop a company
from taking a payment from your credit card. All you can do
is dispute it after the fact. Which seems the wrong way round
to me. Not even reporting your card lost will work as your old
number will be maped to the new card. Great !
To late to do anything else now. But I'l be making a few calls
tomorrow.
