Re: FN-FORUM Bulk Mailling ... whats the right way?
date posted 1st February 2003 11:57
I have qmail setup here with ezmlm and a very nice web front called
qmailadmin by inter7.com. I can setup pop accounts, do forwarding,
mailing lists and all sorts via the web. Very nice. Mailing lists can
even be setup to use mysql databases.
as jan says ezmlm does lots of cool stuff for you... I like it.
As for the original question I would always suggest either a simple
plain text message with a link to a pretty web page version or a longer
non-graphical text only version. HTML email only causes problems,
guaranteed.
Cheers
George
