Not a recommendation as such but the only person I know who uses a Mac
without broadband is on http://www.macace.net - £16 pcm unlimited 56k

you probably have "all caps" set on in the character options.
in the box where u can change font etc theres an arrow at top right. click
it and deselect "all caps" if its on.

I would suggest dealing with them in writing - send them a letter which
pretty much says everything you just posted to the forum. Include an

What type of font are you using? Some fonts are only designed for

OK i found the problem in when i press CTRL-T the font menu pops up and on
the little extend icon top righ a pop up menu opens up, basicy i left ALL
CAPS checked! Doh! :)

Who is the email account with? Not all pop3 servers can be accessed via any
ISP. Perhaps they have some dodgy proxy settings from the pre-broadband days
that needs correcting?

I haven't installed perl - thanks - I did wonder if that was the problem. I
would rather use ASPEMail as it is much better but the existing site used
FormMail unfortunately.
