Well in theory yes but the text would never be totally hidden and in fact
would probably be much more noticeable through the image because of the
sharpness of the fonts lines.

it's just a chessboard pattern with a dominant image on the white squares
and a less obvious image on black. highlighting the image on some browsers

Similar view to Simon, I have a HP Laserjet IID (duplex), a laerjer 5L
and a Epson C70. The old IID is bombproof, the 5L has worn pinch
rollers (so it will unfortunately pull through more than 1 page...
