It does feel like that at times.... Perhaps the word invented would have
been better with the caveat of related to the original IBM Personal
Computers :-) Such wonderful memories of setting dip switches,
applications that would run from a 180kb floppy and 64kb was how the
machine came from the factory, installing hard disks and issuing
commands from debug.com to do the low level format. I did manage to
start on a card based batch system at University where you had to wait
all day for your results to appear, somewhere in a big pile of listing
paper. All that and I am still under 40 (just) - Ee bah gum youngsters
of today don't know they are born....
