I take your point, but then I'm not facing bankruptcy and trying to hold my
life together without letting my personal problems get in the way of work...
I can certainly imagine situations and people for whom the last thing they
want to do is tell the people that they work with/for. Whether that's good
enough grounds for dismissal is arguable, I suppose. Having said all that,
I'd have no problem signing that clause because, like so many other clauses
you see in contracts, you can see why they might have put it there, but
you're confident that it would never apply to you anyway.
