I think you mean the Gumball 3000, the entrance for that is £8,000...
It normally runs across America, i.e from San Francisco to Miami or East
Coast to West Coast. One story I heard was about one of the competitors
going through 3 classic cars during the race costing several hundred
thousand dollars in the end. He wrote off an AC Cobra and a Classic
Ferrari...
