RE: FN-FORUM: Full colour A4 page spread preperation

No not really necessary, but it works better with a master page set up for
left and right pages - gets your margins in correct order. Create your
document in a normal way ie start with page one, right facing. Then the rest
of the four pages. Make a copy of the quark file (just to be safe) then
using the document layout pop up, drag your pages to lie on the right of the
'fold' line.
Alternately, start a new section with an even number, then you will begin
with a left hand page, and set up with content for page 4 first, then page 1
etc... it really depends on your design, if each page is set individually or
if you have running text.
Theresa
ps you could experiment with A5 pages, then print with the spreads tick box
ticked and set your printer to landscape. Then you can mock it up - unless
you have an A3 printer of course!!!

So for the purpose of page numbering do you set up 'Section start so that
there is no confusion as to what number belongs to what.
