Try reducing the speed of the burn operation. Go to 16 or 8x rather than 32
or above, and see how you get on.

I've had this problem on and off with cheaper media. Also, make sure you
store the discs somewhere sensible before use. I recently experienced some
problems with some CDRs that had been stored in sunlight. They'd heated up
and for soem reason that seemed to cause grief. Storing the discs at room
temperature next to teh drive seemed to cure the problem.
