FN-FORUM: OT Laptop recommendations?
date posted 24th June 2003 17:19
Hi all,
I don't know much about what to look for in a laptop for occasional use.
Don't understand Celeron, AMD XP 2000+ etc....
Looking for a cheep cheep tweet tweet model around the ?650 mark for doing
the odd bit of HTML, and Photoshop when away from the office.
Need a Network card and a 56k modem in it for sure.
Wondering if anyone could recommend a place to buy a cheap (pref new) laptop
other than ebay.
Don't care too much about brand, but want a PC OS.
All comments welcome.
Promise to join the PC-BUYERS FORUM in future, but as yr al so clever and
kind....
