Do you mean an office network with servers?
Or do you mean hosting or serving off of a broadband connection?
If you mean the latter then I'd advise against it. Firstly, broadband
has a relatively small outgoing connection (256Kb/s) and secondly
broadband doesn't have any business SLAs, this means you could suffer
from 2 or 3 days downtime without any compensation or even estimated
time for fix.
(I talk about broadband meaning ADSL or cable modems in general, SDSL
may fix some of this if BT pull their finger out).

As far as I know, you can't order ADSL without an active analogue BT
line in place.
For providers check out user opinions at http://www.adslguide.org.uk/,
personally I hear good things about Zen, Nildram and A&A.
