dare you try nail polish remover watered down?
My old office used to have some good LCD cleaning spray but knowing how
cheap they were it was probably just Thames water.

I think Dan's bristly chin might work well for larger scratches,
followed by progressively finer grades of fish. Pike, Tench, Gudgeon,
Sardine, and a fine polish with an Anchovy to finish it off.
