Don't use toothpaste on a laptop (plastic) screen - I did that to a friend's
plastic LED watch many years ago and it totally ruined it. I read something
the other day about a kit for removing scratches off CDs, maybe that would
help. Unfortunately I can't remember where...
I do have a jar of anchovies in the fridge, if that's any good to you ;-)
