I have a Fuji 6800Z, but I think they are (still) a bit over the GBP200.
Almost all cameras except the sub-GBP100 cheapies have memory cards
rather than built-in memory. You typically get a 16M - a 64M is
recommended (at around GBP50 I think).
There is probably a table on a camera site somewhere giving memory /
pictures
crossreference. It depends on the res you select and the memory size of
the card, as well as on the degree of compression that JPEG manages.
If you shoot at 1M (fine for web - not so much for prints), you get
around 300 frames on a 64M card.
Most minilabs can now copy cards onto CD-R - so (depending on the
exoticity of your location) you can get full cards copied and emptied.
Also, if you take a cable and the drivers, you might find an Internet
caf=E9 where you can upload to PhotoBox or whatever.
Cheers,
Richard
