Security by obscurity... very bad thing to rely on and in the context of script
kiddies not even a particularly valid observation. If you have things connected
to the big bad net you need to worry about locking them down regardless of
operating system - just go read the long long list of advisories for things
OTHER than Microsoft (yes, there are more for microsoft, yes, the things that
can be done to an unpatched MS system are frightening, no, using something
other than an MS operating system DOES NOT in and of itself make you safe).
