Re: FN-FORUM: Ipcop vs smoothwall

IPCop 1.3 has been running on my network since it was available as well and I
highly recommend it.
My kids are into internet games so I installed the DansGuardian addons from
dageek.co.uk which is a very configurable monitor/content manager which I
think would be very useful in a corporate environment. You can restrict
access to particular types of sites/content or just run in rat-trap mode
which logs deviant activity (quietly).
These features might be available in smoothwall too. I downloaded it but
haven't had the need/urge to try it. I liked the look of the 2.0 toaster on
their site but my fascination ends there.
