Remember that digicams draw *very* high currents, which will kill most
batteries. You need good quality, fresh, Alkalines or rechargeables
(preferably NiMH, though NiCds work *reasonably* well in my experience).
If fresh Alkalines don't fix it, something's broken. ;-)
