You may have to make sure that you have the STRONGEST possible
batteries you can get your hands on. I use Ni-MH, 1700 mAh
rechargables and they work great. Got mine from Argos for £15 with the
charger. I've tried (out of desperation) lower charge batteries and
the camera died on me.
I hope its this that's the problem and not that your camera's bust!
