Don't know if that is possible (but others will have more knowledge).

Seems Opera & Moz on W2K don't show ALT as default. Maybe TITLE would be
better for this application, as it shows fine in IE/Opera/Moz?

Perhaps this can be modified:

an image on browsers like IE mac, safari?

(like Windows IE does automatically)?
