FN-FORUM: ALT/TITLE and SEO (was: ALT tag hover)

What's the current accepted wisdom about the use of ALT and TITLE in
images to help with search engine optimisation? Should one use both and
put different key phrases in each, or do search engines regard this as
spamming, especially if this is done on several images in a page?
