Actually, I didn't say Dreamweaver crashed my machine, and all I said was
that for me DW was a bit top heavy.

Someone else commented on it crashing their PC.

It didn't do that to me, just was a bit overwhelming for my hardware.

I think he is making the point that you are slagging off and blaming a piece
of software for being too slow and crashing when you should be blaming your
own machine.

Well,

As my abacus runs all the other stuff I need to work, and my Linux box looks
after the server side of things - Apache, mySQL, Postgres - why should I
spend money and time upgrading to run one application?

As long as I oil the pistons and declog the steamline once a week it works
OK....
