FN-FORUM: dull photos, cool filter maybe??

Hi all, apart from the usual brightness, contrast, curves adjusting you can
do in PS to make a photo look better, has anyone got/know of a real nice
filter or add-on tool for Photoshop to brighten up dull photos and that can
do a decent job?

I've done a load of photos recently in normal room conditions and so some of
the pics have come out a bit disappointing, now before I do anymore pics I'm
off to get some nice 100w daylight lamps but in the meantime, rather than
have to re-do quite a few pics, I was hoping to find a nice filter etc that
could do the job unless someone here knows a few tricks?
