This is just a guess off the top of my head but perhaps if you specify
padding for all the sides except the bottom it would appear that the content
is aligned to the bottom - I'm not familiar with aligning content in layers
any other way than changing the padding, margins and spacing....
just a thought, it's late so it might be a really silly thought in the
morning!

aligning to the bottom of a layer is the only thing i can't figure out
-- i'm not sure it's even possible, so i was more wondering if anyone
here knew if it was possible...
