FN-FORUM: Stupid FTP
date posted 9th August 2003 12:33
OK - probably a stupid question, but I've just dragged my fat carcass
downstairs after spending half the night looking after my baby boy.
I uploaded the recent version of PHPNuke to my host, just for a play about
and to see if it as actually usable yet, and not just a mess, got about half
way through and changed my mind - mainly because my Dialup dropped and I was
too lazy to restart it.
Now I try to remove the directories it created etc, and all I am getting is
error 550 Dir not empty - fair enough, so I look in the directories and find
thatthey ARE empty.
At first I thought it was just FTP playing up - at the time I was using the
Command line based one in Windows as I was only sending one or two files,
but since then I have tried WS_FTP, FileZilla, and AceFTP2, thinking it may
be hidden files, but still I cant get them removed.
Anyone have any ideas?
I might try reuploading the whole package and remving it again, just incase
it was that playing up, but before I waste an hour uploading 14meg of junk,
I tohught someone mught have some ideas :)
