that sucks man... but to be truthful it is possible to 'anonymously'
send email from any email address.........

all you need to do is download an anonymous mailer program - and there
are lots out there - and this software enables you to batch send emails
to any number of addresses, and 'cloak' your address with someone
elses! or even a made up one, which is what spammers usually use...

i think if anyone is doing this with your address then any methods you
have to prevent it happening should be used without second thought..
