Thanks for the tips!

Looking at the figures, the Halifax system looks like the best choice for my
small stake - in order to get the cheap charges there are delayed trading
limitations (you specify the shares you want and then pick one of four dates
in the coming month to buy them), but all the other sites I've looked at
want to charge about 10-15 UKP per trade which doesn't leave much of my
winnings to actually buy stock with (indeed, I figure I'd need to make at
least a 20% profit if I spent as much as I could on my first trade and left
enough to pay for the "sell" instruction later).

So I'm signing up with the Halifax. My goal is to grow my stake to 1000 UKP
and then start immediate trading :)

I'll post another note to the forum if I either make the 1000, or lose my
original stake!
