Find out their max daily budget and go from there.

In the beginning you'll find you have to experiment a bit to work out
what works best for what you're advertising.

Personally, I'd do it as a management fee, how many hours per month do
you think you'd spend maintaining it for them. Never thought about a per
click cut, ingenious. :)
