I'd also stay away from Celeron processors (personally). Compared to their
P4 or AMD counterparts, they are pretty slow. You get what you pay for
though. Depends what you're using the laptop for but i'd look for a 2.6gig+
if its a celeron. I've never been that impressed with HPs after sales
service either. 699 is about it's price - if you could go up another 200
quid, you could get a really sweet machine. But like I said, it all depends
on what you need it for.
