I'm in Leeds and I am finding clients are getting harder to find. I =
would
be extremely careful about "poaching" clients, it is something that at =
best
will end in tears at worst it will end up with lawyers.
Even if you buy the business from your boss, what kind of contracts are =
the
customers on? Are they allowed to leave if the business is sold etc? Are
they even on contracts or just staying because of the service etc?
If you are thinking about starting out on your own then fine, but don't =
rely
on getting any work from your bosses clients and don't expect anything =
but
grief with regards to things you may hear about your reputation from =
your
then ex boss.

6 months ago I moved from bradford back to my home town of leeds..
I was in bradford for 3 years and the clients seemed quite sparse in=20
this line of work there...
I think you must be doing something better than I did at the time.. lol
