ah the megadogs i used to go to them all here in Manchester,
a couple of times in Liverpool, once at Brixton A on new
years eve and..... they were at Glastonbury to? memories a
bit hazy, I know you could usually find Ozrics doing a non billed
set somewhere.
System 7, the orb, ozrics, eat static, higher intelligence
agency, autchre, possibly The Shamen although that may of just
been the same venue, Fluke, Underworld, Leftfield and loads
of others and guest DJ's. Brilliant. Most memorable is when
Underworld played before anybody knew who they were and
the first track sent a shock wave of adrenalin through the crowd.
Boom !
The only downside was Mc Teabags incessant ranting over the DJ sets.
This is a long shot but did anybody here go to the Herbal Tea Parties
in Manchester ?
Same musical vain but bigger name DJ's and a smaller venue, tiny
Irish club in fact. Fantastic night out.
Fluke release a new album on Monday, if anyone's interested,
first one in six years.
