What do they do for 18% anyway? If it's just a case of overpaid PAYE,
then filling a tax return at the end of the year will get you a refund,
and once you've got the info together (which you have to do anyway) it
shouldn't take more than an hour.
I use an accountant for statutory accounts & company tax return, and
will probably need one for multi-country tax (!!), but everything else
is pretty straightforward in the UK.
