i know this request probably comes up often, but i'm sitting here
realising that i don't know shit about SEO or how to successfully get a
site listed, besides manually submitting to 'em all and waiting for the
spiders to come...

can anyone point me to a good website where i can start reading up on
this elusive subject so that i can start to educate myself?
