Not sure if this is relevent as I havent used a Mac in thatrespect, but
doesnt Win2k (AS at least - not sure on Pro) have the capavility to talk to
AppleTalk networks?
I wouldnt have thought it would be an issue though as OSX is Unix based -
should be the same sort of thing to adding a Linux box to a 2k network.
Just set the right IP/SubNet and your away.
Feel free to splat me if im totally off the mark though >)
