FN-FORUM: [OT] Online Family/Couple for BBC News
date posted 20th August 2003 19:05
Hi all,
Bit of a strange request this one but here goes, my girlfriend works for
BBC News, they're looking for a family or couple for a story...
"
I'm looking for a family or couple who run their lives via the
internet…and would be up for a bit of filming.
They need to be doing online banking.. that’s the basis of the story.
It would also be more fun if they arranged all their holidays…bought big
ticket items like cars or white goods online. In theory this shouldn't
be too hard to find as so many of us do these sort of things. Ideally
they would be a bit evangelical about it all… but I'd also be happy to
talk to someone who for practical reasons has to run their life this
way…so they have to bank online as they just don't have time to get out
to their local branch. I'm also up for critical voices - those who think
there are practical drawbacks of putting your life online.
Any help would be appreciated. "
If anyone who's interested, fits the bill and would like to appear on
the tele send me a mail off list with your contact details (day time
phone number) and I'll pass them on...
Thankee very much
George
