Re: FN-FORUM: Sobig is biggest virus of all
date posted 21st August 2003 12:10
I was wondering the same thing.. there's all this talk of the latest
virus's but I haven't had a single one..
I set my mail server up to pull out spam and viruses but I haven't
updated their definition files in months.. so it shouldn't be able to
recognise the new stuff..
My Norton AV is up to date but it hasn't alterted me of anything in
*weeks*..
As I recieved approx 2000 emails a day (lots of mailing lists) and still
too much spam.. I'm suprised I haven't recieved anything..
I just figure that most of my mail comes from lists and those listserv's
are pretty well maintained in terms of virus's..
Still a little strange though.. especially as I have over 200 clients
who email me regularly too..
Well.. won't complain about not getting virus's.. lol
Cheers
