We have more stag and hen nights than any other city in the UK apparently -
every Fri and Sat night (and often during the day too) there are great
tribes of them staggering around the bars and clubs.
TBH you have to see the quayside, and the Pitcher & Piano is right beside
the Millennium Bridge with plenty of outdoor 'milling about' space, so might
be a good one to meet. After that, the world is, as they say, your lobster -
from cocktail lounge, to disco pub, historic hostelries, restaurants cheap
and pricey...
I'm leaving Newcastle tonight for a BBQ in the country ;-)
