Also issue with that is that if most of the users are in the UK, having
content that relies on being delivered quickly hosted in the states
could be a problem.
We faced that problem on a music video site I did. Yes hosting was a lot
cheaper in the states but as we were pushing close to 30gigs per day, it
needed to be in the UK. Eventually found a good and unlimited (but
expensive) bandwidth partner.
