FN-FORUM: Perl/CGI help for the simpleton...

I approach you all with shame....and beg for help.
I'm a lowly cartoonist who knows little of installing a Perl script onto my
website. I've FTP'd the files into the directory and they're all happy and
standard but they refuse to work.
Any one know of any idiot proof guides to installing these monsters because
I've tried all the FAQ's and guidelines from my host although I know they
support Perl5 and my God-I'm losing the will to live......and right on
cue-there goes my 8 mnth old son to cheer me up with howls of
encouragement.....
Please help!
