RE: FN-FORUM: IE/VB Question

VB6 (and presumaby above) have good IE controls that I have used a few times
for things (forcing form fills, simulating site traffic, etc.) so if you
hid/removed the standard IE browser and used this then it would be a pretty
simple job to force entry of some info before displaying the "fake" browser
window. Or rename the IE browser and "Shell" it from VB when the user has
entered the info - all simle stuff. You'd need to ensure that the next user
had to "log in" again though, and couldn't just pick up where the last left
off.

Subject: FN-FORUM: IE/VB Question
Howdy,
I've been asked to provide a quote that includes the following requirement:-
5. Produce a log-in screen that captures user's name, email and three
profile generating questions before allowing the users to access the World
Wide Web. This system should be installed on PC's at {exhibition}
Does anyone know if this can be done (easily) using an VB app. or whether
there would be something off-the-shelf that I can use ?
Cheers,
Andy
